RECENTLY ACQUIRED 

Cowfold Barn: A classical early three bay Sussex Barn.   The crown post roof is fully hipped, the principal posts have heavy jowls and the braces are all well curved.   Barns of this age and quality are very rarely available.

Period: c. 1700

Dimensions: 57 ft long x 21 ft wide  (28 feet into aisle). 23 ft high (not including plinth walls)

Comments: An excellent example of a large 5-bay Sussex aisled Barn. Very attractive building with a half-hipped roof structure and sweeping catslide roof over aisle.
